In 1999, the Kettering Civic Band, in honor of their 40th anniversary, commissioned arranger and composer Steven Reineke, current  musical director of the New York Pops, to compose a special song to mark the occasion.

A Golden Celebration

In 2009, the Kettering Civic Band in honor of their 50th anniversary commissioned  Brant Karrick, director of Bands at Northern Kentucky University, to compose a musical piece to mark this special occasion.
